Elektro Kaas GmbH expands the KONZMANN Group's expertise in electrical engineering in Middle Franconia
A long-established company from Ansbach is expanding the range of services on offer and strengthening its regional presence in Western Middle Franconia
With the acquisition of Elektro Kaas GmbH from Ansbach, the KONZMANN Group is gaining an established company with many years’ experience in electrical and building services engineering. Since its foundation in 1949, Elektro Kaas has been synonymous with technical expertise, reliable solutions and close ties to the region. Around 35 employees will be bringing their experience to the KONZMANN Group in future, thereby expanding its expertise in the field of electrical engineering.
A long tradition of expertise in electrical engineering
Elektro Kaas can look back on a history spanning more than 75 years. What began in 1949 as a specialist electrical business run by master electrician Georg Kaas has, over the decades, developed into a high-performing provider of modern electrical systems. Today, the company plans, designs and implements solutions for energy and building services engineering, as well as for high-voltage, telecommunications and data technology.
Its range of services includes, amongst other things, switchgear and distribution boards, KNX building automation systems, lighting and safety lighting, emergency and backup power supplies, as well as network, fire alarm, security and communications systems. Elektro Kaas thus brings comprehensive expertise in a key area of technical building services to the KONZMANN Group.

With this merger, the KONZMANN Group is further expanding its presence in Bavaria and strengthening its expertise in the field of electrical engineering. At the same time, this creates additional opportunities to integrate the services of the individual companies and to provide even more comprehensive support to clients on complex projects.
Elektro Kaas operates primarily in the Nuremberg metropolitan region and in Western Middle Franconia. The Ansbach site thus complements the TGA Division’s existing network with a strong regional unit and creates further opportunities for collaboration with local customers and partners.

The integration of Elektro Kaas is in line with the KONZMANN Group’s approach of fostering the long-term development of medium-sized companies with their own identity and regional strength. Independent entrepreneurship, a customer-focused approach and the established corporate culture remain key elements of this.
